The outdoor adventures like mountain biking and hiking/biking trails were perfect for our active children. We enjoyed the peaceful natural surroundings, taking in the fresh air and breathtaking views. It was a great way to bond as a family and create lasting memories.
For dads, it would be great if the hotel had a play area for children.

The rustic design combined with modern and comfortable furnishings created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The common areas were beautifully decorated, making it a pleasure to relax and socialize. The hotel was also very accessible for senior people like myself, with easy navigation throughout the premises and no stairs to climb. It was a relief to feel comfortable and at ease in a hotel that catered to our needs.
It would have been even better if there were handrails or support bars in the bathrooms to ensure the safety of senior guests.

The hotel had a charming and cozy atmosphere that made my stay truly enjoyable. The rustic decor and comfortable furnishings created a warm and inviting ambiance that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and beautifully decorated, providing a pleasant environment to relax and socialize with other guests. as a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel had good accessibility, with wide hallways and well-lit common areas, making it easy for me to navigate around the property.
If there is one thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people, it would be more attentive and helpful staff. While the children working there were polite, I would have appreciated more assistance with my bags upon check-in and a more considerate approach from the staff throughout my stay.

The hotel is located in a beautiful mountain area with great views, perfect for hiking. The room was clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and a good heater. The breakfast was fantastic, with a nice variety of items, including fresh fruit and homemade bread.
The hotel is quite isolated and surrounded mostly by other hotels, so it's better to have a car. There is no elevator, so if you have a lot of luggage or mobility issues, be prepared for some stairs.

The log cabins made me feel like I was living in a fairytale, surrounded by local Douglas firs. It was a cozy and charming experience, perfect for a low-budget traveller like me.
To be honest, I wasn't a fan of the size of the chalet. It felt a bit cramped for 8 people, but I understand that others might still enjoy the cozy atmosphere.
